Obituary

William Wesley Joyner, 73, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024. He was born January 25, 1951 the late William and Agnes Joyner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Ray, Kenneth Ray, and Rupert Clayton Joyner.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Joyner; daughter, Linda Michelle Brown; grandchildren, Justin Connor and Kourtney Brown; step-grandchild, Jacob Brown; step-great-grandchildren, Hayden and Carter Brown.

Visitation with family and friends will be Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 6-8:00 pm at Cornerstone Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Cornerstone Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.
